Dear Sir,

I learned to know from an advertisement published in the Telegraph Patrika dated……………… that you require the service of a Typist clerk and according to that, I wish to offer myself for the said post. Therefore, I am sending this application to you for your kind consideration. Regarding my educational qualifications, I like to state that I passed the Higher Secondary Examination from the Assam Council of Higher Secondary Education in 1994.

After that I learnt type writing in a private commercial college and my present speed is 40 W. P. M.

I am a youth of 22 years with good and sound health. I am ready to work with full responsibility. Though I have no previous experience, still I am sure that I shall be able to perform my duties efficiently and with utmost sincerity is selected.

বৰ্তমান মোৰ বয়স ২২ বছৰ আৰু স্বাস্থ্যও ভাল। মই সম্পূৰ্ণ দায়িত্ব সহকাৰে কাম কৰিবলৈ প্ৰস্তুত। যদিও এই বিষয়ে মোৰ পূৰ্ব অভিজ্ঞতা নাই তথাপি মই নিশ্চিত যে নিযুক্তি পালে মই যথাসম্ভৱ দক্ষতা আৰু নিষ্ঠাৰে সৈতে মোৰ কৰ্তব্য পালন কৰিব পাৰিম।
