Dear Sir,
With due respect I beg to state that I, the undersigned, am the owner and occupier of the holding no.- I pay the Municipal tax regularly at the rate of Rs. 25 per quarter. After revaluation of building this year the valuation of the building has been held to be Rs. 40,000/- against the previous valuation which was 25,000/- and accordingly the tax has been assessed as Rs. 60/- per quarter. The above mentioned holding is a two storeyed building with only four rooms that are used by us and the building stands exactly as it was before. No development work of any kind has been made thereon, nor the area of premises has been expanded on any side. In such a case I am quite at a a loss of understand as to why or on what ground my tax has been increased so exorbitantly. I think both the valuation to building and the assessment of tax have become a clear case of injustice upon me and it is extremely difficult for me to pay such heavy tax.
Under the circumstances, I pray to your goodself to reconsider the case in the light of my appeal and take such positive steps as to give me relief by substantially reducing the rate of tax and oblige.

মই নিম্নস্বাক্ষৰকাৰীৰ সন্মানপূৰ্বক নিবেদন এই যে, মই……….নংৰ মালিক আৰু দখলকাৰী। মই প্ৰতি কোৱাৰ্টাৰত ২৫ টকা হাৰে নিয়মিত পৌৰ কৰ আদায় দি আছো। এই বছৰ ঘৰৰ মূল্য পুনৰ্মূল্লায়নত ৪০,০০০ টকা ধাৰ্য্য কৰা হৈছে যিটো আগতে আছিল ২৫,০০০ টকা আৰু সেই অনুসাৰে ঘৰৰ কৰ ৬০ টকা ধাৰ্য্য কৰা হৈছে। উপৰোক্ত চাৰি কোঠাৰ দুই তলা ঘৰটো আমি নিজেই ব্যৱহাৰ কৰো। ঘৰটো আগৰ দৰে একেই অৱস্থাত আছে। কোনো উন্নয়ন কাৰ্য্য কৰা হোৱা নাই আৰু ইয়াৰ পৰিসৰো কোনো দিন বঢ়া নাই। এই অৱস্থাত মই মুঠেই বুজিব পৰা নাই, কোন যুক্তিত ঘৰৰ কৰ ইমান বাঢ়িল। মই ভাবো মোৰ ঘৰৰ মূল্যায়ন আৰু পৌৰ কৰ উভয় ক্ষেত্ৰতে মোৰ প্ৰতি অবিচাৰ কৰা হৈছে। ইমান পৰিমাণৰ কৰ মোৰ পক্ষে আদায় দিয়া অতিকৈ কষ্টকৰ।
