The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), popularly known as the CG Board, is the official state education authority responsible for regulating and supervising school education in Chhattisgarh. Established in 2001 and headquartered in Raipur, the board aims to promote quality education, improve learning standards, and ensure a fair, transparent examination system for students across the state.
The CG Board conducts major public examinations, including the High School (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) board exams every year. These examinations usually take place in March, followed by timely evaluation and online declaration of results. Apart from these, the board also organizes supplementary/attempt exams, Diploma in Education (D.Ed.), Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and additional vocational examinations to support students’ academic and professional growth.
