7. Comprehension
Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions given below it.(তলৰ স্তৱকটো ভালদৰে পঢ়া আৰু তলত দিয়া প্ৰশ্নবোৰ উত্তৰ দিয়া।)
Once upon a time there was a wicked king in a large island. He had a very clever workman. The workman had a son named Icarus. Icarus and his father were not happy in that island. They wanted to leave the island. But the king did not allow them to do so. So they thought of a trick. Icarus and his father collected a large number of feathers of birds and made two pairs of wings. One morning, they fastened the wings to their shoulders with wax and were ready to fly. It was a fine day. Icarus’s father warned Icarus not to go near the sun and they started flying.
Both of them were flying like birds. Icarus was very excited and so he forgot his father’s warning. He went near the sun. It was really very hot. The heat melted the wax and he fell down into the sea. Icarus died. His father was wise, so he could leave the island safely.
