Ans According to the poet the dove died of grieving.

Ans: In the above lines the poet laments on the death of his sweet bird. Because he tried to provide all the luxuries to her. Moreover he loved a lot, sometimes he kissed her too. He also offered white to the bird. That’s why the poet asks to the bird that why cannot she live a better life with him as she was in the green-forest.
