The Assam Board refers to two major educational authorities in the state: the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). Together, they regulate and manage the academic structure, syllabus, examinations, and evaluation processes for Class 10 and Class 12 students across Assam. These boards play a vital role in shaping the educational standards of the state and guiding the academic future of lakhs of students every year.
SEBA, established in 1962, is responsible for conducting the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination for Class 10.
