২৮ ফেব্ৰুৱাৰীক ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় বিজ্ঞান দিৱস হিচাবে কিয় মনা হয়?
Ans: 28th February is observed as National Science Day to show our respect to the famous Indian Scientist C. V. Raman, who was born on this day in 1888. He was awarded Nobel Prize for Physics in 1930 for his Raman effect.
(b) Write in your own words about the model of Bidisha, Disha and Barnali. নিজৰ ভাষাত বিদিশা, দিশা আৰু বৰ্ণালীৰ মডেলটোৰ বিষয়ে লিখা।
Ans: Bidisha, Disha and Barnali prepared a model named ‘Reuse of used water, which means the recycling of water, using it properly avoiding wastage even after our use.
They started with the purification of the used water from the bathroom and kitchen by applying chemicals to remove soap and detergent. Then disinfected it with bleaching powder after filtering it properly. After this whole experiment they got pure and germfree water to used it again. They also prepared an illustrating chart.
(c) ‘At – 4.30 P. M. Our programme came to an end’. Describe how the programme was celebrated on 28 February at the school premises.
Ans: On 28 February the National Science Day was celebrated with much enthusiasm at the school premises. The school organised various competitions on essay, article, quiz etc. The whole school with teachers and students participated along with the Chief guest, visitors, guardians, reporters and others. The exhibition with various models displayed by the students were inaugurated by the Chief guest and were highly praised by all. All the students enjoyed the whole day until it was over by 4.30 p. m.

8. Write in your own words about the last annual function of your school.
Ans: The annual function is celebrated once in a year with the beginning of the new session. It is a very happy entertaining day for all the students. In January our school Asom Jatiya Vidyalaya also organised the annual school function.
On the function day we all came prepared practicing, various items for the stage show. I along with my six classmates got ready, came from home with full dress for the modern group dance competition.
The annual function was formally opened by the chief guest, who is a famous writer with a ceremonial group song. Then our Principal addressed us with a welcome note followed by the speech of the chief guest. Our parents and other visitors also came.
The function started with an exhibition of various topics, where the students displayed many models and projects on scientific, geographical, historical and other subjects. Poetry recitations, extempore speech, debating competition and quiz competitions were held among the students. The teachers helped us and conducted the competitions. After all these there were the song and dance competitions. The songs attracted the attention of all. Then different dance items like the modern dance, traditional dance like Bihu, Bhangra, Jhumur etc. were performed. We also did our modern group dance and enjoyed a lot. Then we had the drama competitions which were divided into two groups upper and lower groups. There were six short dramas which the students performed as the teachers have directed them to do. The day was full of fun and joy. Then at about 5 p. m. the whole function came to an end. By the end the annual prize distributions were held, which was the last event of the annual function. All of us along with the teachers, parents and other guests became very happy and enjoyed the whole day. At about 6 p. m. we all returned back home.
