Discuss the following topics in groups.

1. Shoot animals with a camera, not with a gun.

Ans: It is true that not all wild animals can be befriended, but that does not mean we have the right to hunt them for our own pleasure. Animals and humans have coexisted on this earth for ages, sharing both joys and sorrows. They play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of nature. However, driven by greed, humans often kill them, disrupting the harmony of the natural world. Without animals, life would lose its essence. Instead of shooting them with guns, we should capture their beauty and charm through a camera, preserving them for future generations.

2. Keeping pets helps us become more loving and tolerant. It also helps us respect life in any form. Do you agree?

Ans: Keeping pets at home reflects a kind nature and a positive attitude. Every living being, whether a bird, an animal, or even a wild beast, possesses unique qualities. Most animals are known for their loyalty. Even a fierce hound will not harm a familiar person, especially its master. While there are instances of animals attacking humans or other creatures, these actions often have justifiable reasons. For example, a tiger hunts humans only when it is starving, and a snake bites only when it feels threatened. Only someone who truly loves animals can keep a pet, as it shows a deep respect for life in all its forms.

3. Have you heard of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)? What do they do?

Ans: The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is an organization dedicated to protecting animals from cruelty and abuse. It works to rescue and rehabilitate injured, abandoned, or mistreated animals and provides them with proper care, shelter, and medical treatment. Additionally, they work with authorities to enforce laws that protect animals and ensure their well-being. Their mission is to create a world where animals are treated with kindness and respect.
