(v) Helps in analysis and reports.

4. What are the different cell referencing techniques used in calculation?

Ans: The different cell referencing techniques used in calculation in a spreadsheet are:

(a) Relative Reference (e.g., A1):

(i) Changes when the formula is copied to another cell.

(ii) Example: =A3*B3 becomes =A5*B5 when copied to row 5.

(iii) Used for repeating calculations across rows or columns.

(b) Absolute Reference (e.g., $A$1):

(i) Does not change when copied or filled.

(ii) The column and row remain fixed.

(iii) Used when a constant value is needed in calculation

(c) Mixed Reference:

(i) A combination of absolute and relative reference.

(ii) Two types:

(a) A$1 – Row stays constant, column can change.

(b) $A1 – Column stays constant, row can change.

5. What is benefit of using Freeze Panes in Spreadsheet?
