Ans: Sociology is the study of human society and social relationships. It examines various aspects of society, such as family, caste, religion, and social space. In the early stages of Sociology’s development, two main perspectives were prominent. According to Karl Marx, society is shaped by conflict and class struggle. On the other hand, Emile Durkheim believed that society maintains stability and unity, where all parts work together for a common purpose.

These two perspectives played a key role in shaping the foundational ideas of Sociology.
