13. Why are algae considered Thallophytes?

Ans: Algae are simple plants without true roots, stems, or leaves. Their body is called a thallus, and they mainly live in aquatic environments, hence classified under Thallophyta.

14. Differentiate between cold-blooded and warm-blooded animals.
