অধীনৰ বিনীত নিবেদন এই যে মই অসমৰ নগাঁও জিলাৰ দিঙ্গ নগৰৰ আঠগাৱৰ এজন স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা। মই খেতিবাতি কৰি কোনোমতে পৰিয়ালটোৰ সদস্যসকলক পোহপাল দি আছোঁ।
অতি দু:খৰ বিষয় যে মোৰ পুত্ৰ অনুপ মণ্ডলক দলীয় ৰাজনীতিৰ বলি হৈ ডকাইতিৰ অপৰাধত মহামান্য আদালতে যাবৎ জীৱন কাৰাদণ্ডৰে দণ্ডিত কৰিছে। মই ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰত খপত খাই কৈছোঁ যে মোৰ পুত্ৰ নিৰপৰাধী কিন্তু আইনী মেৰপেচত মোৰ পুত্ৰই নিজৰ নিৰ্দোষিতা প্ৰমাণ কৰিবলৈ অসমৰ্থ হ’ল। ময়ো আৰ্থিক দৈন্যৰ বাবে মোৰ পুত্ৰৰ হৈ উকালতি কৰিবলৈ এজন যোগ্য উকিল নিযুক্তি দিয়াব নোৱাৰিলোঁ।
সেয়েহে দয়ালু মহোদয়ৰ ওচৰত মোৰ কাতৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা যে মোৰ নিৰপৰাধী আৰু দুৰ্ভগীয়া পুত্ৰক ক্ষমা কৰি দিয়ে। অথবা মহামান্য আদলতে বিহা শাস্তি লাঘৱ কৰি দিয়ে। এয়ে দৰিদ্ৰ পিতৃৰ নিৰ্দোষী পুত্ৰৰ ন্যায়ৰ বাবে কৰা এক আবেদন।

Subject: A petition to the Hon’ble President for the remission of punishment.
Hon’ble Sir/ Madam,
This is a humble petition to draw your kind attention to the fact that I am a permanent resident of Athgaon village under Dhing town in the Nagaon district of Assam. I am supporting my poor family somehow through cultivation.
With great pain would like to state that Hon’ble court has condemned my son Anup Mandal in a case to life imprisonment who has been a victim of party politics. I am swearing in the name of God that my son is innocent but in the intriguing legal battle my son could not prove his innocence. I also could not provide an efficient lawyer to help my son in the legal battle due to my poverty.
Therefore, this is my earnest prayer to your honour to grant pardon to my innocent son. Or he may be given remission of punishment pronounced by the court. Your honour is requested to kindly consider my appeal sympathetically to do justice to my helpless son and relieve the mental agony that I am going through.
