Once there lived an old man with his five sons in a village. The old man was unhappy because his sons were not united and always quarrelled with each other. He found an idea and the dying man did a trick with his sons to make them united. So, he asked them to bring a stick one by one and then break it, which each of them did very easily. Then he gave them six sticks in a bundle to break one by one by them, which they could not break. The sons learned the lesson and understood their father’s wish. They understood that being united they can together lead a happy and prosperous life and no one can break them apart. They got united and never quarrelled. Then the old man became happy and died peacefully.

Here, the moral is that United we stand, Divided we fall.
